FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LiWi™ Offers Meditation and Full Moon Hike

                              in Remembrance of 9/11

(Scottsdale)—Join liwi.com for an inspiring meditation and full moon hike in remembering the fallen heroes and victims of 9/11 on this 10th anniversary, Sunday Sept. 11, 2011. Gary Nash, owner and founder of Scottsdale-based LiWi will lead a group of 30 people in a short essential oils ceremony and holistic meditation followed by an easy 1.2 mile hike, approximately 2,977 steps—each step in memory of each victim.

“It's important to come together as a community,” says Nash. “It reminds us of our humanity, especially during times of remembrance and reflection.” Nash began his full moon hike series earlier this year as a fun way to bring people together. This Sunday's hike, however, dedicated to remembering 9/11 will take on a different feel as local participants take part in a flag raising ceremony with the Fountain Hills Boy Scout Troop, followed by an essential oils meditation and full moon hike.

“This ceremony will be reflective, profound and moving,” says Nash. “It will bring us together and will help serve as a gentle reminder to live with passion, joy and gratitude.” The short hike will lead members to a wonderful vantage point near Fountain Hills Park to enjoy the sighting of the full moon appearing at 6:40p.m.—a vision solidifying the cycle of life.

“Offering our respects locally, even in a small group, is the least we can do,” says Nash. “This is what LiWi is all about, and why I founded LiWi...to show people that no matter what challenges we face, that life is always worth it.”

As a leader in health and well-being, liwi.com takes a holistic approach to wellness by offering its influential members stories of inspiration, life-changing programs, support, information, lively products and valuable connections to its dynamic and vast network.

“The idea behind the Chug is to provide a fun and unique alternative to plastic water bottles,” says Nash who believes plastic is overwhelming our planet's landfills. “LiWi-Chugs encourage people to drink more water in a more exciting way, while creating less waste,” says Nash. “It's a win-win!”

Imported from Italy, LiWi-Chugs are bursting with flavor, created in an array of vibrant, vivid colors, such as purple, orange, red, green and blue. Also, each LiWi-Chug carries its own special message of intention. These inspiring words, etched within the glass, will lift your spirits, bring a smile to your face and serve as a gentle reminder to live with “passion,” “gratitude” or “abundance.”

“Life-isms” can be compelling, gripping, emotional or even funny. They can be a flash of clarity, an experience  spurring a critical “ah-ha” moment or a gift from tragedy. A “Life-ism” is reflective, never judgmental, grateful, not boastful, and showcases the goodness of the human spirit.

If you have a “Life-ism,” be a part of history and share your story with us by visiting our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/LiWiCommunity  and entering our essay contest. We are accepting essay submissions from February 21, 2011 through March 11, 2011. Public voting for the top ten finalists will occur March 12 through March 18, 2011. Four randomly selected winners will receive a cash prize of $250.00.  Your essay may be published through multiple channels. The deadline to submit your story is Friday, March 11, 2011.
