DRIVING IS JUST LIKE LIFE: PART TWO
THE REST OF THE LIST

Welcome back.  The roads are safer already.  Keep it up and spread it around.

g.            Ditch the headphones.  Your eyes are not enough, If you can’t hear what’s going on around you, sooner or later you’re going to make a mistake, see rule l.

h.            Learn to merge.  When a merging situation appears, space out and alternate.  This is the wrong time to have a race.

i.              Don’t block the view.  If you can’t go, anyway, stay in back of the line so others can see around you.

j.             By now you know about right-turn-on-red-after-stop, right?  So, when it’s practical, leave that lane for those who are turning.  Hopefully, they’ll do it for you too.

k.            Ease up to those Stop Signs and Red Lights.  If others think you’re not stopping, it will slow them down which, in turn, will slow you down. Duh.

l.              When in doubt about something, just remember that you are operating a lethal weapon.  Stop to think; what result is best?  I know you’ll make the right decision.

Now go forth and drive considerately.

That's how I see it.
