The vehicle that carries our soul is so often used and abused, many times we forget how our thoughts show up in our vehicle. Yes, I’m talking about your body. Your body is the vehicle that carries the real you, your soul.
As season’s change and we pull out clothes to match the weather, gasps of, “OMG... all my clothes shrunk,” can be heard throughout the land. And with those gasps, thoughts of self-punishment and self-pity may follow.
How many times have you looked in the mirror and said, “ I am so fat?” Believe me, “your body reacts to your thoughts and words.” It’s true. We spend billions of dollars on diet products, then self-sabotage with thoughts of, “I’m old so who cares, or I’m so fat there’s no way I can change this.”
Distended guts, floppy arms, double and triple chins, lumps and bumps, is that what you see? These things are not who you are. It is not the real you! It is only the vehicle.
Perhaps, what you should be changing is your self-talk, along with your thinking. What if you are perfect just the way you are?
Next time you look in the mirror, say something nice to yourself. After all, we are Spiritual Beings having a physical experience. I know a 70-year-old man who, every morning, looks in the mirror and says, “YOU good looking hunk, stay on earth and shine your light!” How awesome is that!?!
Could it be that your old programming has placed limitations on various areas of your being? I believe so. Change your excuses into affirmations and see results. Take the steps to grow towards good health. Everything else is secondary and superficial. What goes in your mouth is only part of the picture. The other part is the “image” you have in your mind and the “unworthiness” that comes out of your mouth. Have you ever thought of it that way? It's worth thinking about!
Call up the real you and your vehicle will follow!
"Just sayin’….! "
